Mexican Shredded Beef

Mexican Shredded Beef  - Stovetop - 3 hours

Spice Mix-
  1 T each:
    Paprika
    Oregano

  2 t onion powder

  1 t. each
    ground allspice
    coriander powder
    salt

  1/2 T each:
    smoked paprika
    cumin
    cayenne

Combine. Sprinkle 4 t over beef.

3# beef chuck or brisket - rub into 4 pieces

Heat oil in pan. Brown beef in batches. Move to a plate

Drizzle oil, add:
   5 cloves garlic minced
   1 onion - diced
  saute, then add:
   3/4 c. orange juice
   2 T lime juice
   14 oz can crushed tomatoes
   2 c. broth
Cover, cook for 2 hours. Remove lid - simmer until beef is tender. Remove and shred.  Turn up heat and cook down sauce. Store sauce and beef separate.
